Extended Spray Rails provide protection for your valuable propeller and provide an extended step.
Our Extended Spray Rail Kit provides a full length spray rail to replace the existing spray rail. Our spray rails have a down turned lip on the outside edge to reduce the spray on the prop when on the step. Our spray rails are very effective in preventing prop errosion and at the current price on a Hartzell 3 blade prop are an easy option to justify.
Extended spray rails make an excellent step for access on the water or land.

Installation Notes:
This is a complicated kit ot install because of the number and location of rivets that have to be drilled out and replaced. This kit requires approx. 15 hours to remove and clean up the existing aircraft. Another 15 hours is require to drill and fit the spray rail. Finally the installation of the spary rails is where it gets really complicated. This normally requires 3 people and one 10 hour day.
Estimated installation Time: 60 hours.
All shop time estimates are what we quote for our staffed of experienced Seabee people. A&P's without experience with these kits can expect to double and even triple the noted installation time. Installation of spray rails quite often uncovers additional corrosion problems that normally need ot be addressed before installation.
