Reversing valve for Hartzell Propeller, STC SE914NW.

This reversing valve provides precise control over the propeller and makes handling the aircraft on the water in tight situations a breeze.  This is more than forward and reverse for the propeller, it provides a system that allows a highly granular control over the forward and reverse pitch.  For example you can ease up to a dock by holding the prop in neutral and then applying slight forward and reverse as you maneuver the aircraft.  There is no longer to much power in a given direction unless you want it.

Help Extend or Eliminate Hartzell AD97-18-2

Henry Ruzakowski and and Brian VanWagnen  are compiling data on the results of inspections on Hartzell X, V series propellers, in order to petition the FAA to provide relief on the repetitive inspection requirements.  Brian has met with the FAA and was told that if he could provide data that shows that these propellers were holding up well during the repetitive inspections, they would increase the interval between repetitive inspections. Please download and fill out the form they have provided, and mail a paper copy of it, along with copies of yellow tags & invoices you may have to the address provided on the form.  Brian will be collecting the data and sending it to the FAA in written form.

You may contact Brian VanWagnen with any questions at (517) 764-4193, or e-mail.
